Seiji Okuda

Mr. Okuda was born and raised in Shigaraki.

The stone ridges peeking out from the rough soil create a pottery that looks like a rock surface due to the unique black ash glaze and powder coating. All of them are attractive with their earthy toughness and cool metal-like atmosphere.

It is thinner and lighter than the painstaking grinding on a potter's wheel, so it is useful for everyday housework.
